D-Lab Chief Texas Officer quoted in Business Week

D-Lab management continues to be recognized by international publications as thought leaders in many areas. In this business week article, Chief Texas Officer Tank was again quoted for coining the term “Levy Dome”, used to describe his residence on Auburn Street.

The following topics were covered in great detail via teleconference.  Chief Ethics Officer Hoff served as secretary for this important meeting.
1. Checking-in
Communal sharing of our achievements over the summer. Whether it is in Renewable Energy, Global Entrepreneurship or Top Management Consulting we all have repeatedly affected the environment we live in. On a social level, All of the members, with the exception of one, have moved on from any past relationships. Anticipated excursions were discussed and we shared the spirit of the occasion.
2. DLab2008 Website
Management discussed the strategic positioning of our external presence. Determined that website objective is to capture the customer segment between SWIM and Net Impact.
3. Flight Booking
Members agreed to postpone any ticket purchases until confirmation of flight origins could be attained.
4. Investment Focus
Focus of the 3 week investment process is still undecided.  Due diligence in key segments is well under way. This has also been declared the main priority in the upcoming months.
5. Resumes
All members accepted the action item to submit updated curriculum vitae to John Clingan by Friday
6. Itinerary
Itinerary was updated to observe to following strategy: After the spiritual blessing of NYE there will be 3 weeks of work followed by 1 week of cultural apprenticeship - location TBD.

D-Lab website goes live

D-Lab is pleased to announce the successful launch of its website www.dlab2008.com. This website will serve as a portal for the world to witness the experience of D-Lab, and to understand the journey that its participants embark on. According to The Tank, “Wow….if this site goes out to [School]…yikes…”.

On the evening of May 19th, 2007 D-Lab leadership gathered together with the females of “The Circle of Trust” for a pleasant dinner of German meatballs, potatoes and hand tossed salad accompanied by fine wine. Following dinner was blended vodka and melon accompanied by back-rubs of cocoa butter.

D-Lab 2008 is founded

On May 8th, 2007 the four founding members gathered together and established D-Lab 2008, short for “Dave-Lab”, named after the notorious founding member “Tank”. During this meeting, the four members took an oath not to bid any points on the course G-Lab and to do whatever was necessary to make D-Lab 2008 a success. One of the founders, “The Hoff” was quoted as saying “I am truly excited about this opportunity to lift our MBA experience onto another trajectory”.
